WHO WE ARE

Good Karma Café was founded in 2008 with a clear vision in mind. We wanted to open an awesome coffee shop that did everything right and in line with our personal values of economic parity, sustainable ecology, and genuine relationships. We made a commitment to that vision on day 1 and owner Shawn Nesbit, with the support and contributions of all staff members in the stores, continue to focus on delivering on that vision - one cup at a time, one guest at a time, one day at a time.

Good Karma Cafe aspires to be the heart of our local community. Our mission is to provide Good Karma in as many ways as possible AND in as many lives as possible.

We offer up incredible coffee, fresh made sandwiches and pastries, and free wifi. We are fueled by customer service, driven by relationships, eco-friendly -sustainable practices, and our overall mission to contribute in a positive manner EVERYDAY!

FROM FARM

We exclusively use 100% Organic and Fair Trade Certified coffee roasted by the Boston-based worker-owned coop Equal Exchange and have developed sustainable relationships with several small-scale, farmer-owned cooperatives from the Chiapas region of Mexico. Organic purchases eliminate the unnecessary proliferation of harmful pesticides and fertilizer into the environment, and Fair Trade Certification allows us to directly support the hardworking farmers that grow our delicious coffee. TO US

Once the coffee beans arrive at Good Karma Café we take great care to insure that they are handled and stored correctly and always freshly ground right before brewing. We take great care in preparing all of our espresso and espresso-based drinks, and strive to give you the best possible product we can.
